Kitchen Remodel...Slow and Steady Wins the Race

The kitchen remodel is in full swing. It's moving slow but we're first-time kitchen remodelers. I will be sooo happy when it's done. Right now I have no kitchen sink. Darn, how will I ever make dinner? (sarcasm, hate cooking)

Anyway, I love my new cabinets. In the picture the base cabinets are the new ones and the wall cabinets are the old ones. I'm even getting an island! The kind that goes in your kitchen, not the tropical kind (bummer). My favorite part...the hardwood floor. Love that! I want to dance on it.

Boy when you tear this stuff out you realize how dirty your house really is. Pretty gross. Looks like another week and a half till we can get back to the Kraft Maid sale to get the rest of what we need so the construction mess will continue. Hopefully when it's all said and done we can make my brother proud. LOL
